Passport Office Holiday 2025: The Central Government has officially released a detailed list of holidays for all Central Government offices across India, including those in Delhi. The government has announced a total of 17 holidays, out of which 14 are fixed, and the remaining 3 are left to be selected by the respective state committees (CGEWCC). Working Hours and Timings of Passport Seva Kendra (PSK)
The Passport Seva Kendras (PSK) in India operate as per the following schedule:
- Working Days: Monday to Friday
- Office Hours: 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM
- Token Issuance Time: 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM
- Lunch Break: 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM
Please note that Passport Seva Kendras will remain closed on Saturdays and Sundays. The offices do not function on weekends.
Weekend Closures
The Indian Passport Office, along with the Passport Seva Kendras, will remain closed on Saturdays and Sundays. This means that the office will not process applications or provide services on these days. Therefore, it is advisable for individuals to plan their visits on weekdays between Monday and Friday.
