Assam Holiday List 2025 – Government Public Holidays, Bank Holidays and Restricted Holidays

Additional Notes

  1. All 2nd and 4th Saturdays will be observed as holidays. Other Saturdays are working days.
  2. Local holidays may be declared by Deputy Commissioners for events of local significance.
  3. Ali-Aye-Ligang will be a full holiday in 11 districts and a restricted holiday in the remaining districts.
  4. Educational institutions and colleges may adopt a reduced number of holidays as per their academic calendar.
